A Closer Look at the Medina County Sheriff's Office
Medina County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center serves as the critical link between first responders and the citizens of Medina County. The Medina County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center handles 9-1-1 calls, non-emergency calls and dispatch services for 7 police agencies and 12 fire departments throughout the county.
Medina County Sheriff’s Office currently employs 14 full-time dispatchers and 1 director of emergency communications. All are highly trained in all areas of emergency communications, including emergency medical dispatch.
The communications center houses 5 state-of-the-art dispatch consoles equipped with radio communications, 9-1-1 and telephone communications, computer aided dispatch functions and high-tech mapping software of all callers and calls for service.
